Two of our leavers Kimmy and Elizabeth have been visiting Kingfisher Church in Tredworth for social inclusion coffee and karaoke sessions on Tuesday mornings.

S4 and the Environment
S4 visited Stoke Orchard Landfill site. They learnt all about how rubbish is recycled and disposed of and recycled some metal from school. They saw the landfill site from the viewing platform and the lorry they saw was called a Bulker. Connor found it really interesting that they turned methane into electricity to power local homes.

Ceramics
S1 enjoyed a clay ceramics session with Zoe. They made wildlife habitats for Toads to live in along with some fun creepy crawlies.

S3 and the Environment
S3 have been learning about friends of the earth and how to look after the environment. They have been litter picking around the school site, clearing rubbish from the playground and car park.

Trip to France
A group of secondary pupils and staff went to southern France- meeting with pupils and staff from France and Germany as part of the Head, Hands and Heart project funded by the European Union Comenius organisation.
