Occupational Therapy

The school provides additional Occupational Therapy one day per week which is purchased from the Primary Care Trust. The therapist works closely with school staff and the physiotherapist to ensure specialist seating and equipment needs are carefully assessed.  She also works with the school moving and handling co-ordinator on these issues.  

Small group work is undertaken in relation to functional independence and find motor skills where this is identified as a specific need.
